Allyson Mayo, DBH
Dr. Allyson Mayo is currently the Executive Director of Providing Easier Access to Care Everywhere (PEACE) Project, founder of Behavioral Fitness, and serves on the Contra Costa County board representing mental health. She has over twenty years of experience developing new business strategies in cross sectional industries including Fortune 50 technology, healthcare, higher education, and local government programs. Dr. Mayo embodies an approach to work that includes diversity with a shared vision as a competitive advantage.
Additionally, she prioritizes operationalization in work processes and compassion for all stakeholders. She is a professor at the University of San Francisco’s, School of Nursing and Health Professions. As a Doctor of Behavioral Health, she is currently addressing the biggest drug epidemic in history through initiatives on root causes of systemic public health problems and prioritizing workforce development. Her practice of Steward Leadership propels her to disrupt the healthcare industry through a cross cultural lens and with measurable returns on investment.
